What is DAOAD (Our Mission & Concept)

What is an Ad Network? On the most basic level, an Ad Network is a platform exclusive to online advertising which takes the collection of Ad supplies from publishers and matches it to advertisers’ demands.

Ad Network plays a significant role in powering the online economy and its market size is substantial. In 2024, the global advertising market is expected to reach $754.4bn, with digital advertising making up about 59.6%.

However, the Ad Network market is presently dominated by a handful of large, centralised giants. This lack of competition inhibits the industry's overall competitiveness and innovation, meanwhile these dominant companies enjoy substantial profit margins. Additionally, the decision-making process for approving or rejecting Ads lacks transparency and seems to be a bit of a 'black box'; in particular, it's concerning that many cryptocurrency-related projects tend to be rejected.

Therefore, our proposal involves leveraging the blockchain to tackle these issues. Specifically, we intend to conduct transparent and democratic reviews of Ad images and websites using the concept of a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) to ensure fairness. In addition, as a response to the growing number of fraudulent ads, we plan to consistently allocate funds to enhance our system and introduce a reporting feature based on a solid tokenomics model.

DAOAD is focused on developing an Ad Network system that encompasses transparency and fairness, leveraging the strengths of DAOs and tokenomics. For this purpose, the existence of three types of players is essential: Advertisers who upload and place Ad images, Publishers who offer websites, and most importantly, DAO Reviewers who participate in the evaluation of Ad images and websites.
